Phillies Minor Leaguer's are into their exhibition schedule.  Please keep in mind that players shift around a lot during the spring and the team a particular player is playing with on these reports is not a concrete indication where he might start the season.

Brad Lidge put in an appearance from big league camp and threw one inning, giving up a run on two hits with one walk and two strikeouts. Kevin Beirne pitched four and one-thirds innings in relief, giving up one run on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts. Gary Knotts came out of the bullpen to toss one and one-thirds perfect innings. Vic Darensbourg tossed a scoreless ninth inning, giving up two hits and walking one. Five different players picked up doubles as Jason Jaramillo led the way with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored while going 3-for-4. Gookie Dawkins also picked up two RBI and a double to finish 1-for-3. Brennan King and Mike Cervenak each picked up an RBI. Val Pascucci, Andy Tracy and Casey Smith each doubled and scored a run.

The R-Phils continued their hot streak by reaching double digits in hits for the fifth straight game. Neil Sellers drove in two runs and scored another on three hits with a homerun and a double. Jason Donald knocked in three runs and scored once on two hits including a double. Javon Moran also drove in a run, finishing 2-for-5 with a double and one run scored. Brad Harman also got on base with a double and scored one run. On the mound it was Kip Bouknight who led the way, tossing five innings of one run ball. He walked two and struck one while giving up three hits. Shane Youman pitched two innings in relief, giving up no hits and no runs while striking out two. R.J. Swindle also pitched in relief, going one inning while giving up no runs or hits with a walk and one strikeout.

Matthew Spencer knocked in a run while going 2-for-3 and Gus Milner tripled and scored a run in a 1-for-2 effort. Matthew German was a bright spot on the mound, giving up no runs and no hits with two strikeouts in one inning of work. Antonio Bastardo got the start on the mound, giving up three runs on five hits over four and one-thirds innings, he walked two and struck out four.

Derrick Mitchell scored three runs and drove in run while going two for three with a double and a triple. Michael Taylor finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored while Travis Mattair picked up an RBI and scored to finish 1-for-3 with a double. Freddy Galvis drove in a run while going 2-for-4 and D'Arby Myers, Jesus Sanchez and Dominic Brown each scored a run. Zachary Turner pitched two perfect innings in relief and Yen Lin closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning.
