Phillies Minor Leaguer's are into their exhibition schedule.  Please keep in mind that players shift around a lot during the spring and the team a particular player is playing with on these reports is not a concrete indication where he might start the season.

Gookie Dawkins knocked in three runs with a homerun and a triple, finishing 2-for-4 in a game that ended in a tie. Pete LaForest hit a solo homer and Michael Spidale drove in two runs on two doubles and stole a base. Brennan King doubled, scored twice and drove in a run in a 1-for-4 effort. Matt Childers came out of the bullpen to toss two and one-thirds innings of scoreless relief, giving up just two hits and recording a strikeout. Jason Kershner look solid, throwing two innings of shutout ball and giving up just two hits. Joe Bisenius tossed a scoreless 8th inning, giving up no hits and walking one.

The R-Phils hit the double digit mark in the hits column for the fourth straight game. The team has reached that mark in five of its last six outings. Brad Harman drove in five of the teams twelve runs with a homerun in a 1-for-4 effort. Jason Donald finished 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored. Jeremy Slayden knocked in two runs on two doubles and scored once. Jake Blalock also picked up two doubles and a single to drive in one run while scoring two of his own. Lou Marson picked up two RBI and scored a run on two hits and Juan Tejeda joined the hit parade with an RBI and two runs scored in a 2-for-5 effort. Fabio Castro got the start on the mound, giving up one run on two hits over four innings, he walked three and struck out one. Brett Harker came out of the bullpen to toss a perfect 7th inning and Justin Pope finished off the game with two innings of scoreless relief, he walked one and struck out two.

John Urick knocked in four runs on three hits with a homerun and a double, he also scored twice and finished the game 3-for-5. Tuffy Gosewisch also picked up three hits, all doubles, and picked up one RBI while scoring twice. Carlos Leon scored twice and drove in two runs to finish 2-for-4. Gus Milner picked up one RBI on two hits and scored twice and Herman Demmink finished a perfect 3-for-3. Quintin Berry scored a run and finished 1-for-5. On the mound Nate Johnson gave up just one hit in two innings of relief, he walked one and struck out three.

Michael Durant led the way with a solo homer and scored twice to finish 1-for-3. Matthew Rizzotti and Travis Mattair each doubled and knocked in a run, Derrick Mitchell finished 1-for-3 with a run scored and Karl Bolt got on a base with a triple to finish 1-for-4. Drew Naylor was the star on the mound, giving up just one run on five hits in five innings, he walked two and struck out three. Jared Simon pitched two innings of scoreless relief while giving up two hits with no walks and one strikeout.
