Phillies Minor Leaguer's are into their exhibition schedule.  Please keep in mind that players shift around a lot during the spring and the team a particular player is playing with on these reports is not a concrete indication where he might start the season.

Ryan Madson came in from big league camp to throw one inning, giving up no runs on no hits with a strikeout. J.C. Romero also put in an appearance from big league camp, he tossed one inning as well, giving up one run on two hits while walking one. Joe Bisenius pitched the game's final frame, surrendering no runs on one hit with two walks and a strikeout. On offense, Brennan King led the way with two hits in four at-bats. Michael Spidale scored the IronPigs lone run and Mike Cervenak, Val Pascucci and Joey Hammond each finished 1-for-4.

Jason Donald continued his recent hot-streak, finishing 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and one run scored. Lou Marson picked up an RBI on three hits, including a double. Greg Golson also finished 3-for-5 with a triple and one run scored. Jeremy Slayden knocked in a run on two hits and scored a run. Brad Harman and Neil Sellers each picked up an RBI and Branden Florence hit a solo-homer and scored twice. Andrew Cruse turned in a solid performance on the mound, giving up no runs over two innings, he struck out one. Justin Pope pitched a scoreless inning in relief, giving up just one hit.

Carlos Monasterios got the start in the mound for the Threshers, giving up two runs on six hits over four innings with a walk and one strikeout. Sam Walls tossed a scoreless ninth inning, giving up one hit while walking one and striking out two. Adrian Cardenas got on base twice, finishing 2-for-3 with two singles. Tuffy Gosewisch also picked up a hit, finishing 1-for-3 with a single.

Five different Lakewood players knocked in a run, led by Michael Taylor who doubled and tripled, knocking in one run and scoring another. Derrick Mitchell also tripled in a run and scored once in a 2-for-5 effort. Joel Naughton and Freddy Galvis each scored once and knocked in a run. Matthew Rizzotti also picked up an RBI, finishing 1-for-2. Tyson Brummett was a force on the mound, surrendering no runs and just two hits through five innings, he walked one and struck out five. Christopher Kissock and Zachary Sterner each threw two innings of scoreless relief, combining to give up three hits with four strikeouts.
