Shane Youman got the start on the mound for the IronPigs, giving up one run and four hits over three innings while recording a walk and one strikeout. Kevin Beirne tossed four shutout innings in relief, giving up no hits while walking two and striking out one. Jason Anderson and R.J. Swindle pitched the games final two frames, combining to give up no runs on just one hit, while walking one and striking out two. Javon Moran powered the offense, going 3-for-3 with a triple and scoring all three of the team's runs. Mike Cervenak drove in a run, Jason Jaramillo finished 2-for-4 and Michael Spidale picked up one hit in four at-bats.
Brad Harman led the R-Phils offense, knocking in four runs and scoring one of his own in a 1-for-4 effort. Jake Blalock homered and picked up two RBI. Jason Donald finished the game 3-for-4 with three doubles, one RBI and one run scored. Branden Florence and Jeremy Slayden each finished 2-for-5 while scoring two runs and knocking in one run apiece. Lou Marson finished 1-for-3 and scored twice and Tim Kennelly knocked in a run while going 1-for-2. Travis Minix was the star on the mound, giving up no runs on one hit and striking out four over two innings. Will Savage also tossed two shutout innings in relief, he walked two and struck out one.
Tuffy Gosewisch knocked in two runs in a 1-for-4 effort and Gus Milner went 2-for-3, knocking in one run and scoring another. Adrian Cardenas also got in to the action, picking up one hit in four at-bats. On the mound, Brian Schlitter struck out four batters in two innings of scoreless relief. Paige Dumont and Garet Hill each threw one inning in relief, combining to give up no runs on two hits with a strikeout apiece.
Miguel Matos turned in a solid pitching performance, giving up no runs and two hits over four innings. Sergio Escalona tossed two scoreless, hitless innings in relief while walking one batter and striking out another. Moises Melendez and Matthew German came out of the 'pen and each threw one inning, combining to give up no runs on just one hit, each pitcher struck out one. T.J. Warren picked up an RBI single in his only at-bat. Freddy Galvis also got on base, finishing 1-for-2 |
