Phillies Minor Leaguer's are into their exhibition schedule.  Please keep in mind that players shift around a lot during the spring and the team a particular player is playing with on these reports is not a concrete indication where he might start the season.

Neither team could muster any offense in a game that ended in a scoreless tie. J.A. Happ dominated the Rays, throwing four innings of shutout ball, giving up no hits while recording a walk and one strikeout. Shane Youman tossed three innings, surrendering just two hits and striking out one. John Ennis surrendered just one hit in his only inning of work, he struck out one. Although no runs scored, Javon Moran led the offense with two hits in three at bats and Michael Spidale and Andy Tracy each collected a hit apiece.

The R-Phils were able to scratch out another win, improving their already impressive spring record. Josh Outman was the star on the mound, giving up just one run on four hits over four innings of work, he walked one and struck out five. Four other pitchers combined to shut out the Rays the rest of the way, giving up just four hits over the final five innings. J.J. Trujillo pitched a perfect ninth inning to close out the game. On offense, Zachary Penprase finished the game 2-for-2 with an RBI and Tim Kennelly also went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored. Juan Tejeda chipped in with an RBI while Neil Sellers and P.J. Antoniato also picked up a hit apiece.

What little offense there was in the AAA and AA games was made up for as the Threshers knocked home eleven runs in a high scoring game. Tuffy Gosewisch led the way, going 1-for-2 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Adrian Cardenas and Quintin Berry each picked up two RBI while Gus Milner and Welinson Baez each scored. Matthew Spencer also got into the action, finishing 1-for-4 with a double. Joe Savery was a bright spot on the mound, giving up one earned run over four innings of work, he struck out five and walked one.

Lakewood pitching got a big boost from the offense as the BlueClaws pushed across nine runs and hit double digits in the hits column. Travis D'Arnaud provided plenty of offense, finishing 2-for-4 with two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored. T.J. Warren also knocked in two runs with a double while Michael Durant and Michael Taylor each knocked in one run. Freddy Galvis chipped in as well, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4 with a double. Jacob Diekman got the start on the mound, giving up just one run and two hits over four inning with two walks and two strikeouts. Yen Lin tossed two scoreless innings in relief as Richard Austin, Christopher Rhoads and Walter Tejeda each threw an inning of scoreless relief.
