Phillies Minor Leaguer's are into their exhibition schedule.  Please keep in mind that players shift around a lot during the spring and the team a particular player is playing with on these reports is not a concrete indication where he might start the season.

Kris Wilson got the start, giving up one run on three hits over three innings while recording three strikeouts. Travis Minix, Will Savage, Jason Anderson and R.J. Swindle all tossed two scoreless innings in relief. Mike Cervenak led the offense with a three RBI and a double. T.J. Bohn knocked in two runs on two hits, including a double. John Suomi, Neil Sellers and Val Psacucci all knocked in a run. Gookie Dawkins and Brandon Watson each scored two runs.

Matt Childers dominated the opposition, tossing three innings of one hit, shutout ball while striking out six batters. Brett Harker, Andrew Cruse and J.J. Trujillo each tossed two scoreless innings in relief, combining to give up just two hits over six innings. Tuffy Gosewisch, Branden Florence and Juan Tejeda  hit solo homers and scored two runs on two hits apiece. Matt Thayer was 2-for-3 with an RBI triple and P.J. Antoniato, Brad Harman, Jason Donald and Greg Golson each recorded an RBI. Anything goes in spring training as the clubs played eleven innings despite the score after nine.

Drew Taylor and Matt German both tossed two shutout innings in relief, combining to give up two hits, four walks and four strikeouts. Derrick Mitchell led the offense with four RBI on a homerun and a double in a 2-for-3 effort. Quintin Berry, Luis Arzeno and Fidal Hernandez each tripled home a run and Julian Williams chipped in, scoring a run in a 1-for-2 effort with a double.
