The Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association high school baseball semi-final playoff games, scheduled for Monday at 4:00 and 7:00 PM at FirstEnergy Stadium, have been postponed. The games will be played on Tuesday, May 13 at 4:00 and 7:00 PM. The championship game is still scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 at 6:00 PM.

The R-Phils pitching rotation has been changed for the club’s series at Harrisburg.
Tuesday, May 13 at Harrisburg, 6:05 PM: LHP Antonio Bastardo (1-1, 4.22)
Wednesday, May 14 at Harrisburg, 6:05 PM: RHP Kip Bouknight (3-3, 3.83)

Mother’s Day fundraiser
The Reading Phillies wore pink jerseys for their 10-3 Mother’s Day win vs. Altoona thanks to the Reading Hospital Regional Cancer Center. The jerseys were then signed by the players, raffled and auctioned off to raise $7,060 for the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. This was the 4th season Reading wore pink for Mother’s Day. Including this season, $23,876 has been raised.

Gradoville returns
Tim Gradoville, who began the season with the R-Phils as a coach/player, has returned to the club in that capacity. Gradoville, a catcher, was activated on April 19 and sent to Lehigh Valley (AAA). He is inactive as a player on the R-Phils roster.
