Important dates leading up to Opening Day
Reading, PA -- The Reading Phillies 42nd season begins in less than two months. Listed below are the important dates leading up to the R-Phils season and home openers. Full and partial season seat plans as well as group and picnic outings are available now. Tickets for the April 1 exhibition with Lehigh Valley are available to season ticket and mini-plan holders. Exhibition tickets will go sale to the general public on the same day as individual game sales.
Sunday, February 10
• Final auditions for the R-Phils Dance Team; center court, Fairgrounds Square Mall, 3-5 PM, public welcome
Monday, February 11
• R-Phils dance team roster announced at rphilsdanceteam.com (afternoon)
Thursday, February 14
• Pitchers and catchers on the 40-man roster and non-roster invitees have first spring training workout
• Screwball to deliver roses for Valentine’s Day to R-Phils fans that purchased Valentine’s Day Package
Monday, February 18
• One day President’s Day sale on tickets for the home opener (4/11). Details TBA.
Tuesday, February 19
• Infielders and outfielders on the 40-man roster and non-roster invitees join pitchers and catchers
Wednesday, February 20
• All R-Phils individual game tickets go on sale online
Tuesday, February 26
• First Major League spring training game vs. Florida State University
Wednesday, February 27
• All R-Phils individual game tickets go on sale by phone (610-375-8469) and at FirstEnergy Stadium

• Former R-Phils Jimmy Rollins and Ryan Howard back-to-back MVP double bobblehead for the first 2,000 kids ages 14 and under
